June 9-17, 2019. State #43. One week in New Hampshire. We chose to be near Concord because we needed to be near an airport. Originally we were planning to stay in the White Mountains. Now were just have a reason to come back.
Cozy Pond Campground. Our site was the widest we have had on this trip. It was a little dusty but we weren’t here long. They had a putt putt course, arcade and pool. The only thing we were able to take advantage of was the pool one day.
The pool reminded me of my best friends growing up in Maryland in that it was in the middle of a field. Unfortunately, this one wasn’t surrounded by corn.
Dinner near the capital city of Concord at Margaritas Mexican Restaurant. Naturally they had a flight of margaritas. Such a brilliant idea! I think every Mexican restaurant should do this.
They have a lovely downtown area with a granite garden and history trail.
This year was the Bicentennial for New Hampshire.
New Hampshire Capitol
On Tuesday, Chris flew to Cedar Rapids for the awards ceremony while we flew home to buy a house. To see the next post about that click here. We were all gone the rest of the week we had planned here so we didn’t get any more sight seeing in before we had to move.
We flew back on the night of Father’s Day so they got to hug Chris before bed.

Very cool! We didn’t have near enough time in New Hampshire. We will definitely have to visit again. Thanks for following along.
