Christmas on the road in an RV

We wish you a very Merry Christmas!

IMG_4997In Flagstaff, AZ there is an amazing North Pole Experience that takes you through a portal directly to the North Pole to a 400 year old toy factory that specializes in making teddy bears. The big man himself was there visiting this week and spent some quality time with the girls and gave them each one of the bears they helped make.

The Christmas holiday season has been way different on the road. While we have enjoyed a few neat new experiences we have missed our family and friends and all the holiday get togethers.

We decorated the RV a little and fit in a few of our holiday traditions. We made gingerbread houses… well we made a gingerbread camper since we don’t live in a house right now. We also make a train since we are staying at the Grand Canyon Railway RV resort and will be taking the train ride into the canyon on Christmas Eve.

Our elves Candy and Doda found us in Arizona and have had a lot of fun in the RV.

Dear friends and family have sent us cards and packages on the road… that has been a wonderful surprise and helps keep us connected. Shopping, buying, hiding and wrapping gifts in an RV is challenging!!

Our favorite Christmas decoration is from my mom… isn’t it perfect?

We had our shenanigans in Walmart and the girls loved their Star Wars Advent calendar.
