Hard to believe we have been on the road for 6 months, been living in this tiny space for 7 months. I still can’t believe this is my life, every day is a new adventure.

We have seen so many amazing places. If you are wondering what our favorite places have been here are the highlights from each of us:

Me- camping under the dark sky in Big Bend National Park, touching a piece of a petrified tree in Arizona, watching humpback whales and swimming with sea turtles in Maui.

Chris- “Hawaii because I was on vacation, seeing the Grand Canyon, and Big Bend National Park because we were able to cross the border into Mexico and take a great family hike.”

Abby- “Both islands in Hawaii, skiing in Arizona, and our amusement park marathon in Los Angeles.”

Mackenzie- “Kennedy Space Center because I want to be an astronaut, seeing the Grand Canyon for the first time, and horse backing riding at sunset in Texas.”

The girls have given up so much but at the same time gained so much, I am grateful they are appreciating this experience. The are constantly thanking us for this experience.

Just last night this is the conversation I overheard:

Mackenzie said, “Have you noticed we haven’t argued much on this adventure?”
Abby said, “You just now noticed that?”
Mackenzie replied, “We really only argue when we are tired or hungry when we get cranky.” Abby agreed.
Then Abby asked, “Will you miss the RV when it’s over? I think I will a little.”
Mackenzie said, “Yes because I love the change in scenery every week. Georgia was getting boring.”
They really have become best friends. They bought necklaces and t-shirts so it’s official!
We’ve been run out of Florida by a Hurricane, the RV has taken one risky wrong turn in California,  we had one airplane engine blew off during our flight to Hawaii and the Jeep got one parking ticket trying to see a waterfall in California.
Here’s a video of our wrong turn. Viewer discretion advised.

Our next 5 months are planned out. Please feel free to join us on this grand adventure!
